Constitution implementation the utmost task of govt: Minister Bhandari
Lalitpur, Aug 29: Minister for Forests and Soil Conservation, Shankar Bhandari, has said that constitution implementation was the main task of the government.
Inaugurating the fourth general convention of the Nepal Tarun Dal, Lalitpur, here today, Minister Bhandari stressed the need of addressing the demands put forth by the Tarai-Madhes agitation.
Stating that development and prosperity of the country along with constitution implementation was responsibility of the Nepali Congress, he said that the role of
Tarun Dal was crucial for gaining the achievements and goals set by the party.
Similarly, Central President of the Tarun Dal and Parliamentarian, Uday Shumsher Rana, expressed the belief that a positive result would be got in upcoming local bodies' election if a new leadership was elected unanimously.
Stating that the Tarun Dal has increased its activeness in recent period, former Minister Omkar Prasad Shrestha said that all should accept any result of election to be held for new leadership of Tarun Dal and added that and it was democratic practice.
NC District President and lawmaker Madan Bahadur Amatya directed the cadres to be serious towards the local poll as it was the issue of life and death for the party while NC lawmaker Chandra Maharjan said that Tarun Dal was soldiers without uniform for the party.
