Missing boy comes in contact with family after four years
Rukum, Jan 11: A teenage boy of Rukum who had gone missing from Gorakhpur of India four years back was rescued by the police and handed to the family.
Govinda Pariyar of Kholagaun-8 who is now 15 years-old disappeared from the Indian city as he had been there with his parents. The boy was rescued with the help of the Indian police.
Though the Indian police found the boy nine months ago and handed him to the Nepal Police, he was under the protection of a child orphanage home in Rupandehi as making his reunion with the family got delayed since the boy did not exactly know his hometown address.
The orphanage home, with the help of the District Child Welfare Board, took the child to his hometown and handed him to his youngest uncle Hira Bahadur Sarki, Board Child rights Officer Manbir Oli said. His parents are said to be in Gorakhpur.
