Sajha Prakashan support committee formed in UK

Kathmandu, March 29: A literary support committee has been constituted in Great Britain under the Save Sajha Prakashan Campaign. The Sajha Prakashan is a public cooperative which is responsible for publication.
The committee has been formed with the objective of taking the publications of the Sajha Prakashan in the international market and carrying out literary activities. Litterateur Bikal Chandra Acharya is the coordinator of 11-member committee which was constituted following the literary festival and a book exhibition held as part of the weeklong programmes marking the bicentenary of the Nepal-UK diplomatic relations.
Chairman and General Manager of the Prakashan Dolindra Prasad Sharma said that litterateur and Nepalese Ambassador to UK Dr Dubasu Chhetri is the patron of the committee while Jaya Laxmi Rai, Biswas Deep Tigela, Devendra Khadera, Krishna Bajgain, Sumal Kumar Gurung, Dr Sohan Ghimire, Sumaya Rai, Laxmi Rai Lara, Durga Prasad Pokhrel and Dr Rupak Shrestha are its members.
Chairman Sharma said three thousand books of 200 titles published by the Prakashan were sold in the book exhibition. He added that such exhibition would be held and support committees formed in other countries as well. RSS
