Tailoring shop owner donates Rs 21,000 for journalists' trust

Surunga (Jhapa), May 10: The owner of a tailoring shop at Birtamode on Tuesday extended financial assistance of Rs 21,000 to the Journalist Support Treatment Trust.

Owner of Gorkha Tailoring Shirting and Suiting, Bir Bahadur Darnal, handed over the money to Trust's Coordinator Yek Raj Giri and Secretary Keshav Bhattarai.

The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Jhapa Chapter had set up the trust to support the journalists undergoing treatment for health related disorders.

The trust has already accumulated Rs 1.3 million in donation from various sectors. The FNJ Chapter plans to increase the amount to Rs 10 mllion. RSS
