Minister Yadav discusses with stakeholders to ensure better supplies of goods
Kathmandu, April 16: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Yadav discussed Monday with Home and Defense ministries in regard to making supplies management smooth, ensure security of industry sector as well as to create investment-friendly environment.
During the meeting held under the coordination of Minister Yadav, discussions were held on various issues including making supplies of daily essentials including medicine and petroleum products systematic and consumer friendly, according to Minister Yadav's Personal Secretary Santosh Bista.
On the occasion, Minister Yadav stressed the need of moving ahead by making coordination among all state bodies to address obstacles surfaced in supply of petroleum products surfaced time and again as well as operating the ruined industries and production and selling of medicines.
The Industry Ministry would take decision based on the suggestions received over the issues after collecting investment to operate state-owned industries, their safety and market situation, said Bista.
Present on the occasion were Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Defense Secretary Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Secretaries of the Ministry Chandra Kunar Ghimire and Yan Kumari Khatiwada,
Inspector General of Nepal Police Sarbendra Khanal and Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Nepal, Shailendra Khanal, among others.
