Women-friendly examination centres in Dang
Tulasipur (Dang), March 18: Preparations for the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations that begin tomorrow has been completed, according to the District Education Office Dang.
A total of 39 examination centres have been designated with 39 superintendents, 46 assistant superintendents and 500 invigilators. Another 500 security personnel have been deployed for the 13,297 students taking part in the examinations from Dang this year, according to District Education Officer Prahlad Aryal.
Among the total examinees, 7,636 are girl students, 5,561 boys including four visually impaired, seven students with disabilities and one prisoner.
All the examination centres have been made women-friendly with one centre run only by women, added Aryal. Women teachers, women staff and women security personnel are part of the support team in all the centres.
Every possible measure has been taken including security and coordination among the stakeholders to ensure that the SLC examinations take pace in a secured and dignified manner, said Chief District Officer Parshuram Aryal. CDO Aryal also chairs the Examinations Operation Committee. RSS
