Lower House begins topic-wise discussions on Appropriation Bill
Kathmandu, June 13:The House of Representatives, the lower house in the bicameral Federal Parliament, began discussions above different headings of the Appropriation Bill-2075 BS.
In today's session, discussions are being held on different headings of Communications and Information Technology; Water Supply; Agriculture Land Management and Cooperatives; Law, Justice and Federal Affairs ministries.
Opposition parties' lawmakers Kamal Musalman, Bharat Kumar Shah, Dilendra Prasad Badu, Parbata DC Chaudhary, Durga Poudel and Prem Suwal are scheduled to present a proposal, seeking reduction in expenditures estimated under different headings of the ministries
Discussions will continue until June 20. However, there will be no discussions on Saturday.
Respective ministries are likely to reply queries to be raised during the discussions from June 21 to 23, the Parliament Secretariat said.
