Computers left unused for want of teacher
Bardibas, Nov 18: Sitapur Secondary School at Bhangaha Municipality-5 in Mahottari district has around two dozens of computers, but they are left unused for want of a computer teacher.
"The school is unable to provide computer education to students for want of a computer teacher. The computers are getting dysfunctional with no use for long," said head-teacher Sriram Yadav.
The school has got 22 computers worth thousands of rupees, some bought by the school itself and some provided by the district education coordination unit.
When asked, Mayor of the Municipality Sanjib Kumar Sah said they lacked budget to manage a computer teacher for the school.
The school that conducts classes up to Plus Two levels has a total of 1,142 students.
