662 Joint-Secretaries adjusted
Kathmandu, Feb 12: Government has adjusted a total of 662 Joint-Secretaries as per the Civil Servant Adjustment Ordinance-2075.
According to the Spokesperson at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Suresh Adhikari, the adjustment of these Joint-Secretaries was conducted after the Council of Ministers approved the adjustment proposal.
As per the application submitted online by the Joint-Secretaries for the adjustment, 560 were adjusted to the federal government while 102 to province governments.
Prior to this, the secretaries and 848 undersecretaries were adjusted in various three levels of the government.
The Joint-Secretaries adjusted recently would receive the letters from Secretary of the MoFAGA, Dinesh Thapaliya.
A total of 47,920 civil servants are being adjusted in federal government, while 22,755 in the provincial level and 67,503 in local level.
