Committee decides to present Nepal Acts related bill to Parliament

Kathmandu, March 22: Today's meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives decided to endorse the bill designed to amend some Nepal acts related to Civil Code, 2075 before presenting it to a Parliament meeting for deliberation.

Earlier, the bill has got endorsement from the National Assembly. The committee's next meeting would recommend to the government regarding proposal on an amendment to the bill, said the committee's president Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel.

The proposal was forwarded by lawmakers including Sher Bahadur Tamang, Yashoda Gurung and Prem Suwal.
