Service to public be made technology-friendly : Minister Aryal
Palpa, Apr 15: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal has pledged that any services that are meant to be provided to the public would be made technology-friendly.
Minister Aryal said so while inaugurating the Land Revenue and Survey Office at Rampur in Palpa district today. She spoke of the need for the newly inaugurated office to go digital.
Admitting that there was delay in making and installing the software of the Land Revenue and Survey Offices, Minister Aryal pledged that a new software service would be installed in the 131 land revenue and the land survey offices within a year.
“We are effortful to do exemplary work in the sector of Land Revenue and Survey Office where the service-seeker would avail service within 30-45 minutes,” pledged the Minister, adding that she was mindful about the issues facing the service-seekers in these offices.
Furthermore, she pledged to play her part in enabling such an environment in the country by two decades where foreigner youths would come Nepal for employment instead of the Nepali youths flocking abroad for the same.
The newly-inaugurated office building for the Land Revenue and Survey Office at Rampur were constructed by the Rabina construction at the cost of over Rs 400 million.
The building has 36 rooms and 14 toilets.
