Chamber officials and Chinese business delegation hold talks
Pokhara, July 9: Talks were held today between office-bearers of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a business delegation from Nanjing of the People's Republic of China.
Important discussions were held with the 18-member delegation from Nanjing on the topic of business exchanges between the two countries and on cultural exchanges at the people's level, Pokhara Chamber of Commerce Kaski president Kisan Sunar said.
The Nanjing business delegation is led by Yam and is currently on a visit to Pokhara.
On the occasion, the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce office-bearers urged the Chinese delegation to invest in the tourism, agriculture and energy sector. The delegation members said they were interested in investing in Nepal and would do so in the Pokhara area with the help of the Chamber if there was commitment from the government side for business security and clarity of policy, according to Sunar.
