'Go Green' campaign in Chitwan

Ratnanagar (Chitwan), July 18: Lions Club of Chitwan, Sauraha, Lions Club of Wildlife City, Sauraha, Leo Club of Chitwan, Sauraha and Sauraha Jaycees have jointly launched 'Go Green' campaign from today.

Chairman of Lions Club of Chitwan, Sauraha, Prakash Chandra Bhattarai, said that the campaign was launched by planting saplings at Janakauli Community Forest.

The Lions Club initiated the 15-day campaign across the country by launching 'One Lion, One Sapling' programme. Saplings of different species were planted on the occasion.

On the occasion, Chairman of Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN), Lal Bahadur Bhatta stressed that all should pay attention to bring up the saplings.

Different persons including Secretary of Lions Club of Chitwan, Sauraha, Shirlal Pariyar, Chairman of Lions Club of Wildlife City, Sauraha, Subas Gautam and First Vice-Chairman of Sauraha Jaycees, Ram Sharan Silwal, also expressed their views.
