Solar panel installed on Narayani riverbank
Chitwan, Aug. 3: The bank of Narayani River in Narayanghat is being developed as a tourism area and the stakeholders are working for the same.
A large number of domestic tourists throng the riverbank for the eye-catching beauty of the landscape on the bank of holy river.
The Chiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also working for the promotion and protection of the area considering the visitor’s flow on the riverbank.
A part of income created from the Chitwan Festival would be spent for making the area as the tourism area. Likewise, 45 solar panels have been installed recently on the riverbank as a step forward in the mission to develop it as a tourism and recreational centre.
Senior vice-chair of Chiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sahanlal Pradhan said that the solar panels were installed with Rs 4.6 million plus financial support from the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre and Tourism Department. RSS
