Senior leaders holding discussions for finalizing thorny issues
Kathmandu, Aug. 6: Senior leaders of the four major political parties are holding serious discussions for finalizing the public feedbacks on the preliminary draft of a new constitution. The discussion is focused in finalizing the report submitted by the taskforce to the Special Committee under the constitutional political dialogue and consensus committee and the issues related to fixing the number of provinces and their delineation.
The leaders have informed that they would finalize the issues today itself. Following the meeting UCPN (Maoist) senior leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai said that the meeting would finalize the issues even by incorporating the public feedbacks.
Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli, UCPN (Maoist) chair Pushpa Kamla Dahal, and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) chair Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar are participating in the meeting.
