Service seekers hit hard in absence of district office chiefs
Mugu, Nov 2: Service seekers have been hit hard for being deprived of receiving services in absence of chiefs of most of the government offices in Mugu.
The problem surfaced when the office heads did not return to their work stations even after seven days of the expiry of Dashain vacation.
Though the Dashain vacation came to an end on October 24, the chiefs of the District Forest, Livestock, District Health, Irrigation Division, Drinking Water and Sanitation Division, Women and Children, Postal Service, Survey, District Prison, District Development Committee, District Technical, District Ayurveda, Small and Cottage Industry Development, Peace Committee, Gamgadh Distribution Centre, District Treasury Control and District Election Office have not yet returned to the district.
There seems a flow of service seekers at different offices in the district but they are compelled to return home empty-handed for no service.
Nripendra Malla of Shreenagar-5, who came to renew his industry at the Cottage and Small Industry Development Committee on Friday, could not get his work done in absence of concerned office head.
There are many service recipients like Malla who are returning home without their desired works done in absence of office heads in Mugu.
Not only the office heads, the secretaries of Pina, Rara, Kalai, Dhainkot, Viyi, Narthapu, Jima, Dolphu, Magri, Kimri, Seri, Khamale, Gamba and Shreekot VDCs have also not turned up to their offices which has also dampened the delivery of public service at local level. RSS
