Nepal vs Hong Kong match abandoned

Kathmandu, Nov 19: Rain came to spoilsport the first match of Twenty20 International series between Nepal and Hong Kong in Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

The intermittent rain throughout the day washed out the match without a ball being bowled at Rangiri International Stadium, Dambulla.

The second T20 match will be played on Thursday while the third one will be played on Novermber 22. It is learnt that the abandoned match will be played on November 21. Both matches will be played in the same venue.

After being granted the T20 status by ICC, Nepal is playing their T20 international for the first time. Earlier, Nepal had their T20 International exposure at ICC World T20 held in Bangladesh.
